It central NC, it will be "smartly cloudy", that is, some clouds but not enough to prevent some solar eclipse viewing.

My setup: Stellarvue SV70ED and 1.25" diagonal, Kendrick solar filter with solar finder, Universal Astronomics DwarfStar mount on a Bogen tripod, and Orion Explorer II 7-21 zoom eyepiece, and plenty of sunshine!.

My forecast has changed, now has a cloudy spell during the eclipse. Decided to stay bolted down locally... and hope that it shifts a bit
