Unfortunately, I have lost my controller and have given up hope of finding it.  The mount is an LX-85.  Is there a difference between these and the Audiostar that came with the ETX's?  Would anyone know the part number that shipped with this mount?

Thanks!

Recent adverts for the LX85 show images with an AudioStar attached.

Compared to AutoStars it "is combined with the built-in speaker inside the AudioStar handbox to produce over four hours of high quality pre-recorded audio descriptions of the objects you observe."

An Audiostar is an Audiostar.  Any Audiostar will work.  They are flash upgradable as well if need be, but they are new enough not to need it.

Gday Kevin

As noted, an Audiostar is an Audiostar, but as you have an LX85

you have the possibility of using PermanentPEC.

To do that properly, you must be using patched A4S4 firmware.
