Dry run on my eclipse rig went fine. Now it's all down to the cloud cover intensity.

Simplicity will be the rule with 10x50's mounted on a parallelogram and AT80ED with Lunt wedge and ES68 24mm with variable polarizer (yes, I finally found an application for it that I like.) Today we have high cirrus varying to pretty thick and the optics punch through pretty well. Eclipse glasses less so. All of this gear had been proven many weeks ago and I knew it works but I didn't know what it'd do with some clouds interfering.

I will be on the driveway with a few friends and neighbors.

Would you consider driving toward Paris? Great setup, would be a shame if low clouds ruined it lol
