Hello my wonderful Dallasites. Anyone else still debating whether to head to Paris tomorrow? My plan is to rise around 6:30 and make a choice about whether to stay put.

Where in Paris should I stay if I go? I see there's Lake Crook Park but doesn't seem like there's decent parking around that area.

Hi, I am currently on my way to Paris/Clarksville from Dallas. What did you decide? Are you staying in Dallas or heading northeast?

Looks to me like you should be heading further north along the eclipse track, perhaps up into the ArkLaTx area or even into Arkansas proper.  I'm staying put in my backyard with my fingers crossed.  Unfortunately, this morning's forecast is the worst of the week!!  UGH

I am in Paris now and it is looking good, but still a few hours until the eclipse. I might still move further northeast into Arkansas, but for now I am staying here. The forecasts really depend on where you look, the latest HRRR models on pivotal sky for example look quite good: https://www.pivotalw...=us_state_tx_ne

Good luck to you in Dallas!

Well I'm still in Dallas and the sky looks awful right now!

Anyone have advice on where to head on short notice?

Paris and Mount Pleasant look promising but there are no sure things.  All of the weather models seem to be in disagreement about this afternoon.

My number one spot was DFW when I started planning, AI selected otherwise…it looks like the AI was right.
