Had the 10" flat Zygo tested to insure that only the highest quality flat will be used for making this folded refractor. Sent to Russell Optics in Vermont, they charge $15/inch to run a flat through their Zygo test and generate an interferogram, which seems like a great deal if you really want to test an unknown flat. Couldn't be happier with the results; ~1/20 wave PV and >1/100 wave RMS. This flat is definitely worthy!

Oh My.  What an adventure you have undertaken.   Lots of elements have to come into alignment.  the Clark lens is amazing...Like to see more images of it....the first looked a bit foggy.

 

I'll surely be following along.  What are you considering mounting her on?

I was one of the last persons to see the 12 mounted in Delphos.
