CHECK IT OUT -> to YouTube

The location: Milton, VT. A very nice little town park and an absolutely perfect spot to view the cosmic spectacle. An unforgettable experience...

Gear: Canon RF 800mm f/11 lens, EOS-R mirrorless camera, ZWO AM5 tracking mount and SeymourSolar Helios Glass solar filter.

Capture: Over 650 shots, bracketed 7 shot bursts / 1 stop increment, manual mode, intervalometer

Post Processing: Lightroom

Video and Compositing: Final Cut Pro

For the video I used only shots I took from the eclipse. No fake lens flares or CGI. Bracketed exposures is what gave my lots of interesting editing choices. Enjoy!

The RF 800 did a pretty good job.

Indeed! I thought it worked amazingly well actually. It exceeded all expectations.
