There were thin high clouds but was able to get these despite the haze.

Baileys Beads at C3: https://www.astrobin.com/eax8x1

Diamong Ring at C3: https://www.astrobin.com/wm6mi3 (Ring was blown out unfortunately)

These were taken with a Askar FRA 400 with Canon 7D Mark II on Skywatcher Solarquest. I used Eclipse Orchestrator as the automation software.

Nice images, thanks for sharing. I was also in Mazatlan and the clouds are proving to be quite a challenge in post. I'm trying to edit it so it doesn't look so cloudy, but I'm no wiz in photoshop, so my results haven't been great so far.

Beautiful!  And, you captured the yellow bright part of lower prominence (diamond ring picture) that was so prominent visually in a scope, but that I haven’t seen in others’ pictures.

Great results waytogo.gif We were in Mazatlán too and despite the high level clouds enjoyed the eclipse enormously. Still on holiday in Mexico so have >100GB of data to process when I get back to England.
