This was my first (and hopefully not last) total solar eclipse, and one of the most moving and jaw-dropping events I've ever experienced.

Details are in the EXIF data -- use Google Photos' (i) icon to see it, but summarizing:

  • Canon Rebel 2Ti at ISO 100
  • Canon 400mm f/5.6L USM lens at Av = f/8
  • Eclipse Orchestrator to allow me to just enjoy the eclipse and not constantly futz with the camera
  • K&F 16.6-stop ND filter for partially (and non-)eclipsed shots
  • Tv's vary widely depending on the shot [1/4000 ... 2s]

Here's the link:  https://photos.app.g...DgHSqLBMLt8TyR9

Attached below is just a thumbnail of one of the shots. Please visit the link above for all the shots in full res.

Cheers,

JS

Great pictures, I wish I could have seen totality. I like your arrangement, I haven't seen it done that way before.

Doh!  Lawrenceville.  Why didn't I go THERE.  That's a clear sky.  Greg N
