Ever since the latest ASIAIR update, the app says it's "decompressing data, this will take several minutes" every time I start it up and connect to my ASIAIR Mini with my Android tablet.  It does not do this with my iPhone.  Anyone else having this problem and know a fix?

Very helpful.  I have two ASIAIRs and have been running one for over a year with zero problems.  This is the first glitch and it still works just fine with a little hiccup.  I started out with a laptop running half a dozen different programs just to make everything work, after a lot of effort figuring out how make them, all work together.  No thanks.

I don't have an asiair but the standard trick in these kind of situations is to clear the apps cache and/or data and see if it helps.

I have the same issue. It started last week when I ran the new version update. I use an android tablet. Very annoying. Hope someone knows a fix.

Same issue.  Not sure why it's happening.

Well I ended up fixing it the expensive way.  I bought an iPad.  The Android tablet was getting old, slow and not holding a charge anyway, so since the ASIAIR app runs so well on my iPhone I figured it would do the same on an iPad.  I got a gen 9 iPad from Amazon for 249.00 delivered overnight, and that's new not refurbished.  That's around a hundred less than Apple was selling them for on the Apple Store.  It runs the app great and is faster than the old Android on just about everything.  You can't beat the retina screens either.

There is a fix for Android, if you remove the app from your phone/tablet and then go to the ZWO website and download the app directly from there, rather than Play Store, it'll only do it once and then you're good to go. Annoying for sure.

Just download it straight from the ZWO website.
