Just so I'm 100% certain I'm looking at this the right way, there is no reason to mount a ball-head to a skyguider mount in this way, correct?  It would seem an easy way to mount a lightweight camera/lens and easily point and tilt to frame, but unless I'm mistaken, without the Dec axis perpendicular to RA, the center of rotation would be way off.
