The November 2002 issue of Sky & Telescope includes a rather glowing review of the 50th anniversary Q. I’ve got one in my own collection (the magazine; not the 50th 😝), and two more copies are now on their way to me.

 

If you own a 50th, and would like a copy of the magazine, just let me know and I’ll send a copy to you (the first two of you who respond) for free. Just PM me your contact info - and a pic of the base of your scope showing the first few bits of the serial  number, and it’s yours. (US shipping addresses only… sorry!) These are used and may be in less than stellar condition, but I give ‘em as I get ‘em…

 

If I find additional copies I’ll post another note. Anyone with a scope this wonderful should have a copy of the magazine…
