Last night's Lunar X was spectacular!

 

12" Zhumell Z12 Dob / EQ tracking platform / 2x Barlow / ZWO ADC / UV/IR cut filter / ZWO ASI678MC Camera / iPhone 13 Pro Max for quarter moon shot.

Great images! May I ask about the EQ platform? I've been eyeing them for a little bit, but not sure on how they work and all that

Thanks! I have the Northstar Systems Dob Tracker 3 and it's working great for me, but only after some mods. Generally, these are not recommended for heavier scopes > 12".

The V in the first picture is also very distinct. Above the middle of the terminator, approx.

I did get one capture of the V area, but not a lot of good frames, had to process with much denoise.

Here's one of the hand-held afocal shots of the Lunar X that I took last night using my iPhone, a 20mm eyepiece (324x), and the Naylor Observatory's 17" classical Cassegrain.
