I saw a few people say they missed all of their totality photos for one reason or another.

Here's all my nikon d850 raw files.  I had a 70-200 plus 1.7x tc. (340mm)

I shot from 1/500 to 1/2s at iso 200 f8

I also had a d800 with the 24-70 shooting auto but -2 exposure and 9 brackets.

Unfortunately I forgot to increase the f-stop so they're at f/2.8 and some some chromatic aberrations.

The d850 were hand-held so manual alignment is required for combining the brackets.

These were shot from Lac-Magentic in Canada.

Please reply to this post with your "finished" product if you process them.  I'd be very interested to see what you can do with them.

Cheers,

Eric

That would be great if you could upload the CR3 files!

I also created a new Flickr Collection for all of the eclipse photos:

https://www.flickr.c...57722706304134/

There you have the full trifecta for Partial Solar Eclipses, the October 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse, and the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.

To bulk-download entire albums (of 500 images or less) from Flickr in original lossless quality, click the down-facing arrow below where it says "photos / views" then select "create zip file".  All of the Flickr downloads are licensed as Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike unless otherwise noted.

If you need a 7Z archive of any albums of over 500 images let me know but this takes time.

Thank you Nicole. That's very generous of you. What software were you using to control the camera? There is very little drift between shots which make me think you were controlling a tethered camera:-)
How was the bracketing sequence planned?
Same shutter speed consecutively 4 or 5 times or the entire spectrum of shutter speeds done repeatedly? I am curious as I am thinking of preparing for future eclipses.

Thank you

Sue
