This is brilliant!  Strongly considering buying, but I've been thinking about upgrading my RedCat to v3.  Any chance there's a version of this ring coming for the v3?  smile.gif

Hi Sputnik - The short answer is yes. The long answer is that I am working on a V2 heater right now and I get the impression the front end of the V2and V3 are the same if so then you will have one in a couple of months. If they aren't the same it would be in the second half of the year.

It will also depend on sales of this unit to know if I can justify a run of those models.

Regards Monte

I'd totally grab one, for the 61mm that is, lol. I know it's tough/expensive covering multiple models, but that is good lookin kit right there! Nice design!

Very nice.   Any plans to make ones for the V2 and V3?

The 61 is a bit further back in my plans. There aren't as many of them as the 71. But if I do one you will see it announced here.

Any news on a heater for RedCat 51 v2? I'd love to purchase one when they become available!

Any plans for a version that would fit into a 2" focuser drawtube? Mechanically this might look like a Barlow with a heater instead of a lens. I think this would be a dynamite product, allowing you to swap eyepieces without removing and re-installing the heat strip.

Great idea let me think about it. If I make a prototype would you be interested in testing it for me?
