Thats awesome. I still remember how I first learned of eclipses. I was 11 years old in 1979, 5th grade, and my teacher told us we were going to get a partial eclipse here in NY on Feb 26th ( 67 % sun being blocked). We had set up special pinhole boxes, but we never got to see it because we were clouded out. But we did see it on TV in the classroom. I was amazed by it. She said the next one in the US was not until 2017, 38 years later.

I ended up seeing the 2017 and 2024 eclipses. And I wish I can somehow thank her for teaching me about it when I was a kid.
