A stunning sunset developed as I was sat at the PC last evening.  First impulse was a pastel effort; but that would have been a scramble – for one: not sure I have the right hues in my somewhat incomplete selection.  Also the rapid change in hues light & shade and so on can befuddle the visual memory a deal!

Well I was at the keyboard (in view of the scene) with Corel open so opted for this digital-type rendering. The tree/hedge skyline was constructed from Corel Clip-art; but heavily modified to nearer simulate the actual.

Seems it was the messenger of a reasonably fine day today:

Red sky at night shepherd’s delight”……..

rather than that other version frequently heard these days……

“Red sky at night shepherd’s house alight”……Dave…..grin.gif

I’m seeing it just fine. Glad you were able to respond quickly enough to capture the moment. Very resourceful and a gorgeous rendering Dave.

David ,what a Magnificant rendering

The crimson glow of this amazing pillar residing with the serene tree / skyline & a beautiful tree that resembles a certain  favorite tree.

I do like the process on this one as well

it Definitely portrays your style.

Thanks for sharing it warms the heart.
