Hi Solarobserver,

I have updated the pictures from yesterday and today on my website. The eastern edge prominence/filament with its curved structure was very nice.
As always, conditions were poor and inconsistent. It still has to get better. The picture was taken at the 300mm Unigraph | Aries DERF| with DS and new Cam Apollo Max.

It's one of the best-looking pictures of prominences I saw.

Hi all,

thank you very much for your feedback and likes. We will continue to have sun for the next few days. Unfortunately, we get a north-easterly current again, which makes the seeing almost unusable for my instrument. Let's see, hope dies last. Maybe we'll catch a nice loop in AR 3664!

The day of the Solar Eclipse I was monitoring its progress. I had to run

a package over to my local USPS office. The Sun was already in its final stages

out of the Moon’s shadow, but I aimed my iPhone 13 at the Sun and snapped

this quick image. In an attempt to coax the Sun’s corona, I used the iPhones

powerful photo editor. When I was done with the way too much editing, I was left

with this unusual image. I showed to my Wife and she said it looks like a painting
