Hey guys,

Several years ago, I remember a French female Astronomer writing a book on the Sun (at least, my memory tells me it was a French woman).  The book was published in the 1800s.  I have spent an hour Googling today and haven't been able to find any such book.  Am I losing my mind?  Can any kind person point me in the right direction?

Cheers,

Dave

There’s, The Sun, from C Young in 1888? Though I think he was a British male.

There is also Amédée Guillemin‘s The Sun, from 1875. He too is male. Can easily be found in various book archives.
