Caught a break with about an hour and a half of clear skies (OK, a few clouds went by!) for this animation of a still active, AR3663, now AR3691.  Lots of surge proms and then a nice floating prom on the limb.  After catching 1 hour 16 minutes I switched to WL and CaK and was just able to eke out a full disk for both.  Ha-Lunt LS60T DS   WL-Orion ED80T and Lunt 1.25" WL Wedge  CaK-Orion ED80T and Lunt CaK BF1200.  Saturn-M SQR for all images with a Meade 2X Barlow

Great series Warren!

There's a lot of interesting activity to the right on your image just out of frame spewing big arcs down!

Very best,

Thanks everyone for the comments and the likes, glad you all enjoyed these!  Marty, I didn’t see those streamers on the right until I processed the animation!  Always choices on the areas to include.   I could do the whole disk I suppose and then cut it into smaller pieces but then the files are huge!

Thanks Roberto!  Revisiting the Ha full disk I wish I’d had a bit more time to adjust the tuning as the right side is just off band a tad.  Luckily I was able to move the disk in the field so the ROI for the animation was within the sweet spot!

Thanks Stewie, I can always count on a floating prom to display a bit of action!
