Aloha all,
As the topic suggests, I'm looking for some advice. The other day, I heard a loud plastic-y bang. The adhesive Rigel mount on my short tube 80 failed and the Rigel finder fell to the floor from a storage shelf - about an 8ft drop. the finder looks fine, and there is no rattling sound when you shake it, but it doesn't turn on anymore. I even switched out batteries, just in case the prior battery died.
These finders aren't designed to be opened.
Does anyone have any experience reviving a Rigel finder from the dead?
many thanks!
Ayres
