Amazing Contrast between Hubble and JWST

I saw this image and it quickly became one of my favorites. I had to share.

 

Hubble images the visible light spectrum; JWST can image in near and mid-infrared.

 

This overlay is of the same spiral galaxy. The dust lanes that block out the light from the stars and absorb that energy also emit infrared as a result. It is really incredible to see that output.
