Half of last night's images were doubled as if the mount was periodically jumping in R.A. I have an EQ6-r so I suspected the belt drive was buggy and opened up that compartment this morning to check....

Yup, it's buggy.

Now, how did that bumble come to bee in there?

Better bee plugging some holes.

Next thing you know metal eating termite's mite get in.

 

Oh dear, this post is going down faster than your mount did.

Unfortunately, that's not a honey bee, which would be the singular reason one would even briefly consider letting him make it.  No, that's a woodboring bee.  He's looking to chew holes in any wood soft enough to do so.  Fortunately, no wood here.  He'll move on. You've gotta wonder what exactly he thought he was getting into?
