This is more of a computer question but not sure where else to seek help. Using a iMac with the M1 chip, Sonoma 14.5 and plenty of disk space. I have installed the latest JRE update and the Prolific driver. I’ve downloaded CFM from the Celestron site and when I open the CFM jar file with a right click then Open with Java, the splash screen appears then a pop up with a warning that it has “unexpectedly terminated”.  I then have “Celestron Firmware Manager”showing in the top menu bar but clicking on it does nothing. I’ve tried multiple uninstalls/ reinstalls, boot up in Safe Mode, but nothing changes. I don’t have access to other computers and actually little knowledge of fancy trouble shooting methods. Anyone have any ideas of what my problem is or suggestions on getting CFM loaded?  Thanks guys for any help.

Have you tried running it as Administrator, or in Compatibility Mode?

No I haven’t. I don’t know how to do that. I’m the only user of the computer so I assume I am the administrator.
