I am falling behind in terms of processing as I generate about 1Tb of sequence / hour and for instance today, 4tb.

 

While processing those timelapses (today I normally got the M9 solar flare or AR3723 and I think I saw some good dynamics), I quickly processed a mosaic (Takahashi 76DC, Quark Chromosphere, Flattener 76d, Apollo M).

PS : if you have advice on how to better stitch together mosaic, I am all ear. For the moment, using photoshop / photomerge and trying to manually improve some junctions.

You might want to consider adding a normal view, so it would be easy to compare against GONG (it matches very well, BTW)

 

Doing so reveals some slight vertical banding, which may be due to building up the mosaic.

Have you tried PTGUI for stitching? It won't necessarily fix all the uniformity issues, but the blending is top-notch and it can try to adjust brightness at joins.

 

If you have a reference from a full-disk image (GONG or other) it may be possible to try and match the large-scale luminance of the higher-detail image to it. If done manually, perhaps use something like the difference blending in photoshop and adjust local areas to match the reference full disk image.
