Life and weather conspired to make my week a single night, but it was a superb night. Thanks to Jayme, the rangers/staff of the park and all the volunteers who make the party possible.

We ran into an Ion storm last week which made it impossible to beam down to the surface. Our life supports were cut down to bare minimum. Had to stay with the ship.
