Hello experts,

I am having an issue while preprocessing 3 nights of data in PixInsight where WBPP fails and does not generate the master light. I am getting the following error:

FastIntegration: Global context
*** Error: The target images list contains duplicate file names (case-insensitive). This is not allowed when the 'Overwrite existing files' option is enabled.
<* failed *>
** Warning: Fast Integration failed.

************************************************************
* End fast integration of Light frames
************************************************************
** Warning: Master Light file was not generated.
** Warning [162]: C:/Program Files/PixInsight/src/scripts/BatchPreprocessing/BPP-engine.js, line 1046: reference to undefined property this.masterFiles[((type + "_") + variant)]
** Warning: No active master light has been generated. Drizzle integration is skipped.

I tried finding out what is happening but I couldn't get anywhere :(

I am attaching the log file

Could it be this checkmark?

The error message is telling you that some of your image files have the same name.  You said you shot for three nights. Are the files all in the same folder? If not, check that your software did not name some of the files with the same name each night.

I have seen this error. Make sure that the folders are named only with letters and an underscore ("_"). Do not use - or + in the folder names....INCLUDING the destination folder

Example for folder names that should work where I include the Target_Date_Camera_scope

M101_July_11_ASI2024_Askar103

the destination folder must follow this rule in my experience

You could also name a folder without underscores and just use capitalization to make it easy to read

Thanks for the help. Will this change the fast integration settings when I do fast integration in WBPP?

Each night has its own folder and I never had this issue before, this is not the first time I stack in PI. I am not even sure what is going on. Btw, when I stack them Night by Night i.e. for 3 nights I get Night 1, 2 & 3 master lights and it works fine, the issue only happens when I stack all nights in one Master light.

The destination folder has a space in the name, but I followed your suggestion and I removed the space and put "_" instead. Let's see :)

Hi everyone, so sorry about the delay here, I have been busy with work, kids and family. I have already tried all the suggestions and unfortunately it did not work :( I am now renaming 1500 frames and testing; this is the only solution left for me to test. I will update you here once I finish.

I received the same error message yesterday from WBPP using 3 nights of data. It worked fine using fast integration.

It worked out for me after renaming around 1 thousand and 500 Frames, not much laugh.gif I wonder why they call it Fast integration when it takes 5x the time it took me using Siril/SirilC and every other Stacking software. It is a stupid workaround that took me a lot of time and effort to do.
