I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for a StarSense style piggyback adapter like the lovely contraption that our resident ATM and fabrication genius, Dave Trott, created?   Amazing work, Dave, as always!  I hope it's ok that I borrowed these images from your video.

Bonus points if you know of something that's not all plastic.  I was actually kind of hoping that Meade would come out with their own StarSense type product and perhaps make it available as an add-on for older scopes, unlike Celestron, but that was not to be.

Yes, but ADM does sell parts that will allow the desired outcome. I have done it myself. No plastic parts, high quality machining, etc... solves all desired objectives.

I was wondering that too.  

When I did a search on the ADM site, I only saw adapters for the StarSense auto guider, which is not the same as the StarSense Explorer phone app:

Celestron has a habit of using the same marketing term for various unrelated products.

Maybe my misunderstanding. I just rechecked the OP, and the request is for an "adapter" for "StarSense". As suggested, that could mean many things, i.e. StarSense AutoAlign (SSAA), StarSense Autoguider (SSAG), or the StarSense phone holder.
