A Svbony 6mm 68° a few months ago.

I wanted 2.5mm or 3mm for tight double stars, so I bought the 6mm to use with my Ultima Barlow. The combination works great for doubles and the eyepiece was only $30.

My last purchase was a Tak 12.5 TPL to back up my finder eyepiece, a 24 Pan. The TPL is lightweight, handy and great for examining DSOs more closely and also for the moon.

NAV HW 17mm, 14mm, 12.5mm, 10mm

New. All at once in October, 2023 when the dollar was strong and the eyepieces were on sale. I will never regret the purchase or its timing.

I bought one of those too and when I first considered answering the OP's request it was the first one to come to my mind.  It's a great eyepiece but the Delite was my most recent purchase.

A SVBONY 7-21 zoom about a year ago. Very nice for the price ($50). I just leave it in the side rack on my XT8 Dob under a Telegizmo 365 most of the time. Makes deployment very easy borg.gif

AT 13mm 100 degree purchased about 6 weeks ago. After great success with the AT 20mm 100 degree (purchased in February), I decided to try the 13mm along with my full Morpheus line up.

To my eyes the 13mm isn’t as crisp or bright in the center of field vs the Morpheus 14mm, so I will stick with the Morpheus 14mm for faint fuzzies. BUT the AT 13mm 100 degree is now my go to open cluster buster. That extra field means all but the largest OCs fit in the FOV (2000mm focal length, 11”) and/or provides wonderful framing. And objects being stars, faint fuzziness isn’t an issue.

How do you like to TPL 50?  Considering one for my 100DC.

It's a 2" eyepiece... My FC-100DC only has 1.25" diagonal.

On the TOA it's VERY bright and very well made but I don't use it a ton. It's very special though.

Forgpt to mention that about a month after I bought my Morpheus new, a whole set appeared on the local astro classifieds....... because ofcourse mad.gif

Another recent purchase was an ES 16mm 68*, which I intend to use in a 50mm RACI finder when I find one.

And then there was a Skyrover 30mm UFF, infact I got all of these within the space of a month. Wallet empty crazy.gif

18mm UFF, used, to bracket my TV 19mm wide field and 17 Nagler. Haven’t spent a lot of time with it yet, but first impressions in my TV 85 are favorable.

Yesterday a Skyrover 82° 7mm.

But what is interesting me would be to know, since you seems to have premium widefield eyepieces, why you bought a short FL plössl, and how you like It/use It.

I bought last year this same 6mm, because It was really cheap, I like the line, needed short FL and find It not that bad difficult to use. Sharp and contrasted.

Thanks.

The Vixen NPL Plossls are my starter EPs. The 30mm has a widefield and is very light, so it is often used first.  Its ergonomics really, as I tend to use my lightweight EPs with my smaller scopes, especially for stealing quick looks in my area's tropical, wet climate.

If the weather permits and I get serious; then the better EPs come out to play.

I don't use the 6mm very often, but it is better than I expected.  I thought the eye-relief would be annoyingly small, but found it to be a nonissue.

Bought anther svbony sv131 40mm plossl, May this year, to form a pair for binoviewing with my skymax 127. This gives me extra exit pupil when I want an extra bright view.

It's almost the first pairs I use now whenever the moon is out.
