Greetings, I am new to the forum and I have only been in the world of astrophotography for a few years. Recently, I acquired a Maksutov 127/1500 along with a Player One Mars-C II pictures, but when I get the images, they have black spots. I don't know what is the problem. The truth is that it especially affects me when photographing planets.

Thank you very much for the help in advance.

Your debayering is set wrong. What software are you using to capture and stack the data? Your bayer matrix is RGGB.

Greetings, thank you for responding.

For capturing, I use FireCapture,I don't know if debayering can be changed in FireCapture.

And for stacking, I don't use any program for now. I was considering Autostakkert, but according to the analysis I've done in FileScan Sandbox, it has many behaviors considered malicious, so I haven't dared to install it. The same thing has happened with other well-known stacking software.

I am relatively new to the field of astrophotography, so I don't have much experience.

Well most of us (planetary images) use Autostakkert. Some use Registax.

Maybe you are getting false positive.

Here's some good info on planetary imaging.

That's your problem, you're not debayering at all. You need to debayer the data before you can use it.

Dunno why you're getting a warning about AutoStakkert!, it's fine and is a trusted source. Same goes for RegiStax, although you may get a warning about the site not being secure. It's an old site, and may not be updated, but it's OK.

I highly recommend Wavesharp instead of Registax. Cor put this update to Regstax out nearly two years ago and it's well worth your effort to work with.

It's good for post processing but I believe it cannot align/stack.
