Stay with me on this one, I’m fairly new to this. I recently purchased a ZWO 5x2 Electronic Filter Wheel (EFW) that I will use with my ZWO 533MC Pro. I was aware of the old light leak issue, and, that ZWO now ships “darkening rings” to address the issue. My question is regarding how to install the darkening ring. One solution is to set the darkening ring between on the efw and screw the camera in, simple enough (see link)

The other solution seems more involved. You’d still place the darkening ring in the same position, but you’d removed the carousel from then efw and use 4 screws to tighten the camera (and darkening ring) from inside the efw. More something like this (see link).

While my question is more centered around the darkening ring, is the second link the right was to mount the camera to the efw? Appreciate any help & wisdom!
