I've heard pretty much every flocked SCT improves its contrast A LOT when flocked. I've also heard it take longer to cool down. This wouldnt be too bad during the summer but i can observe in 20 degree weather during some winter nights.

Im also the kind of person that when i take my mount apart, i always break or hurt something a little bit each time. Last time i tweaked my wormgear, the little black threaded part's threads were messed up and now its kinda loose, so...its duct taped! But i cant exactly duct tape a corrector when it breaks into a million pieces.

How easy is it to take out the corrector?

I think it might be better if i didnt flock it though.
