Just wanted to thank Sky-Watcher's Kevin for his very informative video on the selection and use of imaging filters. It's an hour-long video that really covers everything from simple light pollution filters to mono filter sets to multiband filters for OSC cameras:

Of course, there are many sources of info for filters already out there, but what's really appreciated is that Kevin (and Sky-Watcher) put considerable effort into this extensive video, not really to promote their products (they don't even sell imaging filters, do they?), but to benefit all astro-imagers.

I have bought equipment from a number of manufacturers, but watching this video made me glad that my imaging mount and tabletop dob are from Sky-Watcher. I think they're a great company.

Sorry to be the dissenting one, I watched that video and thought it was quite poor and potentially confusing to a newcomer.  It didn't seem to be well scripted.

What would you consider a better comprehensive video about imaging filters? Can you provide a link?

I noted that well-known imager/author Alan Dyer made an approving comment (regarding Kevin's clarification about H-beta filters). Also, Kevin's recommendations about triband vs dual band narrowband filters for OSC seemed to exactly echo what imaging expert Cuiv had recently recommended.

Also, I appreciated the detailed look at the various mono imaging filter sets and the striking difference with OSC imaging (how modern multiband filters are in a sense, a workaround for the limitations of the Bayer matrix). That was very helpful, in my opinion.
