I thought I would share my AT-115 solar scope with the Lunt 80 etalon with feather touch focuser.  I removed stock focuser and adapter. Measured focal distance and did some math to come up with the adapter. A friend drew up the adapter with the 113 mm threads to screw on to the AT115 EDT scope, he will make me an alumni one. The 80 Lunt is probably overkill but that is what I had. Some people are using the 50mm and 60 mm with great results.

I know Lunt use the 80 on their 100 mm scopes but I thought it might be a little to much on my 80 erf so I bought and use the Altair 120 derf and it works great.

I have great views with double stacking my 40 mm Lunt and 2.5 power mate. I have used my 13 TV Ploss with the 2.5 power with jaw dropping views. I did not think my Denver skies would support this but it works great, so good I sold my Quark. I prefer full disk views which I get even with the 2.5 Powermate.

No solar pics for now, still working on this learning curve.

Very cool!

I attempted to buy one LS50THa a few months ago and, as my luck goes, I screwed up the order royally. I now have two LS50THa scopes in my possession foreheadslap.gif  The vendor wasn't too customer friendly (IMO) about returns on none defective items, so I've been stuck with it over the last few weeks debating when to post it in the classifieds...

... which may not be happening after seeing this post! Of course I'll need to do a ton more research on this, but I've got several refractors that'd look great with a ERF up front & etalon in back!

Yes Apollo, you do have some scopes that would be fun to try.

Above are a couple of images most were to big to post, but it a start. Al least you know the mode works.

I have a lot of work to do on this solar imaging stuff.
