This guy. I've lived within an hour or so of Cherry Springs for the last 35 years but I've never been to a star party there. I'm mostly visual, and I'll be bringing a few scopes and Bluey: https://www.cloudyni...copic-boogaloo/.

I missed the registration again this year. So I'll be going the week before the Star Party. No venders, no talks, and no late night snacks at the food stand. It won't be the same, but I'll survive.

You are definitely going to enjoy it!!! I will post a pic so if you see me come say hello I will have an 11 nexstar GPS on a wedge and a EQ mount with a 70mm svbony astrophotography setup. My name is Dan

There are still tickets, and you don't even need the app to get them. I was surprised, I stressed making sure to be on at 8pm precisely to get them, meanwhile the entire area is out of power and being hit with tornados and 80mph winds. But i got my tickets.

 

I'll be at the almost heaven party then the black forest one. I have never been to cherry springs so I thought this might be a good way to get the lay of the land since there will be other folks around.

I hope so I need a couple good sky nights trying out two new setups. A German equatorial with a svbony 70mm ed with ccd's and a nexstar 11 GPS with a Dslr.
