While waiting for the next annular and totals, 2025 offers only deep partials but both have some charm for photographers

March 29th 2025 a sunrise partial in the north as far south as Maine for maximum and further south on the east US coast for post max. Max is a deep partial.

Sky and Telescope has a trip to Greenland to see it (and solar max auroras). Lots of photo opportunities for Sunrise partial over water, things like light houses or boats in the photo depending on location.

Similarly September 21 2025 has a deep partial seen from east coast of Australia, New Zealand. Fiji and other islands. Photo opportunity for foreground palms and other things.

While there will not be a corona, and it will not get dark, it still has the wonder of the Moon passing through Solar disk, and it is the only action for 2025 with an opportunity (excuse) to visit some exotic spots.

Hi

With the partial solar eclipse only a few hours away

I used to have some software that gave you a profile of the LUNAR LIMB  to try and identify the various peaks and mountain ranges , BUT have lost it on my comp.

Any idea of a software link you can direct me to ..

Many thanks
