Hey all. So I know it’s not that great but I’ll color myself happy for my first lunar image. Did a bit of planetary last December / January and pivoted to DSO imaging ever since. Seeing stinks by me in NYC, focused best I could. 2 min vid capture using ASIair. Probably should use SharpCap next time.

Looks fine! What crater is it?

The crater seems to be Maurolycus, but the image has been flipped and rotated (or taken that way since it's an SCT). Probably captured on or before August 13.

James nailed it, it’s flipped because it’s with an SCT and I didn’t rotate it back.

You mean you used a diagonal? A flip implies an odd number of mirrors.
