Against the grain here.....find a gently used 7T1 Nagler.  This is an excellent eyepiece for planets and DSOs as well.  It will also leave you with startup money for your next TeleVue.

Looking at the Moon with my TEC 160FL and an 8mm TV Delos almost brought tears to my eyes because the image was so unbelievably crisp. The magnification was just right and the FOV was near perfect for my eyes. The experience was stunning and reminded me why I observe in the first place.

 

I really like the TV Delos line, except for that "hole" between 6mm and 8mm. But that is why we have the Pentax XW 7mm.

If I could buy a single televue eyepiece which one should I choose? My main enjoyment is moon on any telescope I have. After getting apo i am stunned, and i found myself enjoying moon at lower magnifications without feeling the need for more; so at ~160x - 290x. ...

p.s. I dont think i want an eyepiece where i would touch its coatings with my eyelashes.

p.s.s. so this isnt an eyepiece for planets, but for moon exclusively.

 

You cannot go wrong with a 6mm Ethos.  It fits your parameters.  I don't know where you live; however, since you indicate you enjoy the Moon "at lower magnifications without feeling the need for more," it should permit you to get a lot of use during cloudless nights at 150x.
