Here's an interesting 12 inch Mak-Cass for $5000.  The widow is selling it, looks well made.  It also looks like a Byer drive maybe?

 

What throws me is she says it's an f/5.  Never heard of a Mak-Cass at f/5.  Plus the secondary looks way to small to be an f/5:

Well she does say only 17 of this type were ever made, which could explain why you've never heard of it.

I think an f/5 Mak is basically impossible. Must be f/15.

Big RuMaks are hard to make. People probably just don't want to work that hard for marginal profit. It must be incredibly tedious figuring the secondary.

Collimation will be fun. Never get a Mak again after the 8" i had.

The previous owner screwed it up. Maks are not meant to be collimated every other outing. Good ones are made to hold collimation forever outside being dropped. The tinkering spirit does more damage than good.
