I have a older Celestron Nexstar 114 Gt telescope (The Gray Tube Reflector telescope.
I am having an issue with an intermittent LCD display on the hand control. I get the orange light but the display does no always work. I have taken it apart and cleaned contacts, etc.
My question is there a replacement controller in lieu of this controller to connect directly to a computer and use a software package that runs on a pc? If not what is the newest controller that I can use with possibly a USB port instead of using a RS232 to USB adapter.
