The seeing was pretty good last night as the title suggests. I tried getting Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, but the latter two were still pretty low. Mars is especially hard since it's so tiny, even the 3x barlow. Anyways I took several videos of Saturn and ended up with a few that are pretty decent. I used my 8" Cave Astrola with my 3x Televue Barlow and my ASI120MC-S. The first image is the best 10% of 12,000 frames. The second is just a 1.5x drizzle of the first. And lastly I combined that with a high exposure video to get the moons, very lazily mind you I still think it's cool. There were also more moons that could be seen if I cranked up the levels in Photoshop, but so did some unwanted stuff. Also I may have gone a little crazy on the first image as it looks a little over processed. What do you think CN peeps? As always thanks for looking and clear skies.
