I couldn't get straight with the specs, I keep finding the same transport length figure for the William Optics GT81 and 71, could any owners please reflect on this?
GT81:
Tube Length (390 mm) Fully Retracted
Tube Weight 3.95kg
GT71:
Tube Length 390mm Fully Retracted
Tube Weight 2.95kg
Such a weight difference is less of an issue, but I'd have expected a shorter footprint. Still smaller and lighter than my TSAPO 90/600 though.
Also interested on some thoughts how they would compare to a high end supertele, e.g nikkor 2.8/300? Latter has 3 (unspecified) ed glass elements and of course a nicely corrected field.
