Interesting and credible. We moved here to our  ~dark rural hill~ about 45 years ago. I'm 76, going on 77; got tested just a few years ago "just for the fun of it" and (thankfully) still rank in the top fractional 1% for IQ/mental agility (among all adults). I always figured it was just fortuitous genetics, but the very dark nights may also play a role, even more so than expected. And... I can't help but notice that many of my contemporary urban friends seem to have noticeably ~lost their edge~, even frighteningly so. My osteoarthritis sucks, but I'd rather that than my mind losing function. At this stage in one's life, every additional OK year is a great blessing. Darkness --- good for the mind and good for the soul. Who would have thought?    Tom

This has already been recently posted in this forum and a just scant couple of opening posts below this one. Same study.

It would would be nice if people would bother to read the forum first before starting a thread. Kinda reminds me of some imagers I know who set their rigs on auto for a single object, retire back into their RVs for a night of watching movies and TV and never look past the door until the next day. But, it seems, any kind of commentary goes...

Apologies, I did have a look, but obviously not well enough. Good thing I'm not an imager.

Mr./Ms. Moderator, feel free to remove this thread.

Perhaps it would be nicer to simply notify a Moderator, rather than scolding a fellow member. lol.gif
