Had to wait a couple hours for the marine layer fog to burn off today.  It was pea soup at sunrise.  Seestar with Baader filter.

I might have to purchase one of those Baader filters.  That looks great, Peter!  Which filter did you use and how did you attach it to the telescope?

Don, I recently switched to the "Astro Essentials" Baader film filter offered by First Light Optics. It attaches to the front of the Seestar the same as the stock filter. If you were to take the stock filter apart and replace the supplied film with Baader film, you would have essentially the same thing. It comes preassembled and is probably the simplest and easiest way to go, as you do not have to handle the Baader film or cut it to size to fit or install it in the filter holder.
