So, on bino T2 threads is screwed on small T2 extension who offer diopter adjustment lockup in desirable position, and on it, screwed on T2>2" adapter, and on it, Ethos via 2" mode.

Here is example of MODDED Mark V how have custom made T2 adapters with male threads, but diopter adjustment is not used, but can be easily added...

I was going to suggest removing the eyepiece nosepiece & tuning it to remove the 2" bit. Your idea is less extreme. :D

 

I'd be curious to hear what you think of these when compared with (say) the Docter / Noblex / Hi-FW.

I love Docters a lot, but wider FOV of Nikons/Ethoses/XWAs are more apealing for my taste.

 

If I want ultimate performance (sharpness/details), I pick Takahashi TPL pairs.
