Allll right! My early 1970s Model 114 OTA, complete with piggyback camera rig, tube counterweight, original finder, and Unitron eyepieces. Not a mark on it. Super sharp optics. The scope is on display in the living room, but does get used for the Moon, planets, and double stars. Just looking at it makes me feel good!

I'm sort of a small time Unitron collector.

A couple of spare 114 mounts

Circa '1957-58 128 mount that I restored.

I still need to finish the counterweight bar and get a weight for it.

Plus a couple of sets of legs for the above mounts

Then there's the ongoing Pseudotron Project

My mint M152 in 1988 i got it in 1986 and was made in 1960 and came with Clave eyepieces. All for a silly $300. Scope sat in the boxes for over 20 years.  Whatever was in the boxes was so strong it would make your nose and eyes melt/ I tried to air them out for 2 years and could never get that stuff out.  Lens was fogged some and sent it to U in 1987 for cleaning for $150. M13 just looked great in a dark sky.

Dob next to it was a 8" F/4 coma monster.

I love the Satellite telescope. I have a February 1959 issue of Sky and Telescope that has a full page ad for it on the back cover. $75! Thanks for sharing.

No. I made a killing on the 4" in 1988 and traded the 3" RFT for God knows what in 1990.  I think the ad is in the Starry mess for the 4" that i placed.

Maybe try keeping something and taking care of it. i will never sell my Meade 127ED. I love that scope. I don't care if other scopes are better. They aren't that much better to replace my pride of ownership.

Here’s my small collection. Nothing fancy, just the three 114’s.  From left to right, ~55-56, ~58-59, and ~59-65.  The center one is missing the mount box and leg box, and I was able to clean it up and get it a lot whiter since this photo was taken.
