In the Seiko Scope Polarex catalog was a model 134, which was an alt-az 4" with the sort of tilt platform alt-az mount as seen on the 60mm scopes. Anyone have a picture of that?

I can see a big 'ol wire-wound potentiometer... so must be dimmable at the least.

May we see a photo of the jumbly bits please?

Is that a micrometer maybe?

After all my Unitrons, all I have left is the micrometer and four or five eyepieces.

Yep! I am pretty sure that I’m finally done downsizing. I’m down to the minimum in terms of both practical use and sentimental value. There is really nothing more that I want, and I can comfortably store, and use, what I have.

BIF:  I may be delivering my 1958 Questar Standard to our daughter next week...

On Topic:  I could've gotten sentimental about 1 Unitron -- that 1950s 142.  Outstanding Views, Great Jupiter Pix, and with a serious restoration would've been a pretty & useable Classic that got used.

Do you use it much? I had one for years and used it maybe once. It was mostly a collector’s item for me.

No, I do not use it much at all.  Like you said, just once.  It's still like new.

for years the duetron eluded me. And poof it was raining duetrons.   I  have a NOS model b which is for the 1.25" eyepieces.   All gear I need to sell.   However, I do not know why I am still buying gear.  Hard habit to shake.

Have been many Unitrons come and go here. Such beautiful scopes. Currently just 2 I still have. This one is a 155C that probably started out as a 142 and accessories added. Have all the boxes too. Even the guide scope box. (Thanks Jordan) wink.gif
