Wow.  These are great!

Possibly a good show later this month??  When it's in the east and a little easier for those of us in the northern hemisphere.

Here is the comet today, with images taken at 6:07am, 6:10am, and 6:19am.  It was not visible to the naked eye but easily seen in 7x50 binoculars.

These are a series of 5-10 second images taken with my iPhone 15 Pro. Total visibility was about 20 minutes, from rising to becoming lost in the morning light.

It is getting more difficult to photograph especially if you oversleep, this on the morning of October 3.

I didn't think I caught it this morning until I saw it on the computer screen!

But about 15 minutes before this I captured the tail that is around 20 degrees, the diagonal of this full frame 135mm red channel.

The above color image was taken with a 200mm and shows the full frame.

Just for fun, here’s a view of my eastern horizon, with an arrow pointing to the comet’s location. As I’ve mentioned, I have had only about a 10-15 minute window from first finding it, to capturing it, and then losing it in the morning light.
