So my NEQ6-P has started having an issue where it will go to the first two stars fine during a 3 star alignment but then completely freeze HC and all when you tell it to slew to the third star, and the only way to get it to respond is to cut power and manually reset it to home then power it back on, but even then it continues to freeze during the 3rd alignment star slew. The mount is balanced and has no cables dragging, and is in good mechanical shape Does anyone have any experience with this issue and know the cause of how I'd go about troubleshooting it? This is typically a very reliable mount that outperforms a friend's newer EQ6-R version.

Could it be that the mount running into it's limits? Does it report any error messages?
