Hello people, it's been a long time since I was on this site, I used to be a regular comet chaser but life got in the way, I've recently got back into it, the weather is terrible here in the UK at the moment but waiting for a chance to get back outside, I use 25/100 Orion binoculars, they have been with me for around 20 years, I used to have a four inch refractor but I found myself always using the binos so I sold the scope.

Welcome to CN.  Keep what you have now and add 10X50 binocular is great for sweeping Milky Way, lot of Messier objects and bright NGC objects in dark sky.  I can see M36,M37 and M38 as faint blob object just outside of city. I get old and I like 10x42 that I able to hold it much longer without a tripod.
