I know that it was not tested by the company so I asked if someone already tried?

I tried once and it did not work with the Z9 and did not try again.  It was when I was just starting so I am sure it was not a good assessment.  I decided to go to a dedicated Astro camera and remove a bunch of variables in my learning process.

The Z8 seems to work. I can get the ASIAIR to take an image with the Z8 during focusing, but haven’t had a clear night to try it out on a sky image. I have an ASIAIR Plus 256GB and the ASIAIR does recognize the Z8 as a main camera. I believe you have to connect the DSLR cable to the camera to snap images.
